How do I book my first session?

Send me a message through the contact page and we will arrange a free introductory phone call. During that conversation we can talk through what brings you to counselling and agree on the best next step.

Do you have a waiting list?

I keep a small caseload so that new clients can usually begin within 1-2 weeks. If I am fully booked I will let you know straight away and can add you to the waiting list or signpost alternative support.

Where are sessions held?

Face-to-face appointments take place at my quiet counselling room in Letchworth Garden City. I also work online for anyone who prefers to meet from home or cannot travel easily.

What should I expect in a session?

Sessions last 50 minutes. You lead the pace while I offer a calm, non-judgemental space to explore your experiences. We regularly check in so that the work stays focused on what matters most to you.

Can we meet online as well as in person?

Yes. Many clients choose to mix in-person and secure video sessions depending on their schedule. Both formats receive the same level of care and confidentiality.

How many sessions will I need?

There is no fixed number. Some people feel the benefit after a handful of sessions, while others value longer-term support. We review progress together and you decide when you feel ready to stop.

How much does counselling cost?

Each 50-minute appointment is £50, payable by bank transfer 48 hours before the session.

What is your cancellation policy?

Please provide 48 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Sessions cancelled with less notice are charged in full because the time is reserved specifically for you.

Is everything we discuss confidential?

Yes. I follow the NCPS ethical framework and everything you share stays between us unless there is a serious safeguarding concern. We will cover the boundaries of confidentiality clearly in our first session.

Is parking available?

Yes, free parking is available at the front or side of the building in bays marked 607 only.
